Barbie was born Jan. 10, 1926 in Grand Rapids the daughter of Myron and Louva Lessiter McNaughton. She graduated from Belding High School with the class of 1944. During her working years Barbie had three jobs and she loved each of them; in the service department at Gibson Refrigeration for 12 ˝ years, Vining Sales in Greenville for 19 years and as a legal secretary for Richard S. Wagner in Belding for 21 years. Barbie was a member of the 1st Congregational Church and the Kate Shannon Fellowship and the Friends of the Belding Library. Barbie loved to dance and was well known around the Belding/Greenville area for her love of dance. She also enjoyed bowling. Barbie had a grace and a style all her own and was a friend to almost everyone in town. She will be greatly missed. Barbie was married on Nov. 4, 1950 to Darwin Bradford and he preceded her on Sept. 19, 1989. Barbie was also preceded by her mom in 1936; her dad in 1986; her sister, Phyllis Warden and two sister-in-laws, Donna Feuerstein and Linda House. Barbie is survived by her sister-and-brother-in-law, Marilyn and Don Cory and brother-in-law Jay Feuerstein, all of Belding; several nieces and nephews and many friends around the Belding area. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday Jan. 5, 2009 at the First Congregational Church, Belding with Pastor Byron Davey officiating. Private interment will be in Greene Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Memorial contributions may be given to the Belding Library, the Belding Museum or the First Congregational Church.
