The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, May 23, 1947

Mrs. Mary A. Bradford of 812 West Lincoln avenue died at the home of her 
niece, Mrs. William Larson, of route 4 Friday, May 23 at 6:30 a.m.  She was 
born September 14, 1861, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hicking.  She 
married William Bradford January 14, 1897, who preceded her in death in 1922.  
She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Ionia.

Surviving her are one sister, Mrs. George A. Aldrich of Berlin; one step-son, 
Paul Bradford, of Easton; and three step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Boynton funeral home Sunday 
afternoon at 3 o’clock with the Rev. F. G. Dunbar of Grand Rapids, former 
minister of the Ionia Methodist church, officiating.  Interment will be in 
Easton cemetery.
