Mr. Bradford left for Flint Tuesday morning, not realizing the seriousness of his brother’s condition, and upon arriving found that he had passed away early that morning. The mother, Mrs. Ed. Bradford, of Ionia, and been notified earlier and was there with her son when he died. It was a great shock to the family for Mr. Bradford was about his work in the Chevrolet factory Friday. Walter Bradford was 34 years of age, having been born in Easton township where he made his home before going to Flint a little more than a year ago. He was employed in the Belding-Hall refrigerator factory here about 13 years ago. It was while he worked here that he met and married Miss Lydia Ganske. She and three small children are left to mourn the loss of a devoted husband and father. Funeral services will be held at the Stebbins funeral home in Ionia on Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Burial will be in the Easton cemetery. Besides his immediate family, the survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Bradford of Ionia, two sisters: Mrs. D.W. Culver of Detroit and Miss Libby at home; two brothers: Fred and John of this city.
