                    IONIAN GETS WORD OF SON'S SUDDEN DEATH
   Charles W. Bradford, of Saginaw, Was Son of William Bradford of This City.

Saginaw, March 27 - Charles W. Bradford, for 24 years comptroller of the 
Michigan Sugar company, dropped dead at his home here this morning. He was 47 
years old yesterday.

Word was received late this afternoon of the sudden death of Charles w. 
Bradford at Saginaw this morning and was fixing the furnace fire when death 
occurred. Mr. Bradford was planning on taking a trip to Toledo today. He leaves 
a wife and two children, a brother, Paul Bradford, and his father, William 
Bradford, West Lincoln avenue. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 
Saginaw, but due to serious illness his father will be unable to attend. Mr. 
Bradford visited relatives in this city last month.
