Belding Banner-News Thurs.November 30,1967

                               ARTHUR E. BRADFORD

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for Arthur E. Bradford, 76, of 
route two, Belding, who died Wednesday, November 22, at Osteopathic Hospital in 
Grand Rapids.

A lifetime resident of Easton Township, Mr.Bradford was an active participant in 
community activities. He was moderator of Goodwin school for several years and 
had held several other offices.

He was a former guard at Ionia State Hospital.

Mr.Bradford was born July 7, 1891, the son of Lucia and George W. Bradford. He 
married Jessie G.Jacobs in Ionia on January 1, 1917. She preceded him in death 
this years.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs.Edward Nobis of Muir, Mrs.Donald Scheid of 
Belding and Mrs.Charles Raines of Ionia; ten grandchildren and one great-
grandchild.

The funeral services were from Stone-Kauffman Funeral Home in Ionia.Reverend 
Edward Oosterhouse officiated. Interment was in Easton Cemetery.

Bearers were John Stencil, Bud Stencil, Harold Ludlow, Henry Rathburn, Charles 
Edlin and Dale Edlin.
