The Ionia Standard, Friday, February 21, 1911
Mrs. John D. Bradford died Wed. night at 11 o’clock, ten days later than her 
husband, he passing away on Lincoln’s birthday, and she on Washington’s.  She 
was critically sick at the time of her husband’s death, being taken with grip 
which enveloped into pneumonia.  They had lived together over half a century, 
and it seems fitting that they should not be far separated in the journey into 
the unknown.

She was a daughter of Sylvanus Wilbur, who came to Easton from New York state 
in October, 1854.  Her age was 69.  She leaves four sisters, one of whom is 
Mrs. C. H. Chambers of this city.  

Funeral service on Friday at the home on State St, at 12 o’clock., at Easton 
church at 2 p.m.  Interment, Easton cemetery.
