Bradley, 80, died suddenly at 11:30 a.m. at his home, 117 VanderHeyden court. He had gone indoors after working in his flower garden and suffered a heart attack. Born in Lyons, April 24, 1877, he was a son of Henry and Margaret Bradley and lived in Lyons until 24 years of age. An employee of the Pennsylvania railroad system as a telegraph and telephone agent, he made his headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pa., for several years. He lived in St. Louis Mo. for five years and Chicago, 16 years until retiring in 1942. Mr. Bradley was married in 1920 to Jessie Hawley in Kansas City, Mo. and for the past nine years, had spent the winters at St. Petersburg, Fla. He was a life member of Lyons Masonic lodge. Surviving are his wife, a niece, Mrs. Charles (Caroline) Mason of Ionia and a nephew, Wayne Bradley of Los Angeles, Calif. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 3 o‘clock at the Stone-Kauffman funeral home under the auspices of the Lyons Masonic lodge. Burial will be in Lyons cemetery.
