She was born Nov. 1, 1911 in Iona and moved to Venice, Fla. 25 years ago from Washington D.C. where she worked as an executive secretary for the C.I.A. During her career she spent five years in London, England working for the State Department. She retired in 1970. She was a docent at the Washington National Cathedral for seven years. She was a member of the Venice Yacht Club and was of the Episcopalian Faith. She leaves behind nieces, Jean Ghio of Mission, Kansas and Mary Jane Lowery of Brevard, N. C.; step-daughter-in-law, Patricia Bradley of Ionia; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be private. Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Washington National Cathedral Fund, 3101 Wisconsin Avenue N.W., Washington D.C. 20016-5098.
