          GARY BRADLEY  1947 - 2017
   Gary L. Bradley unexpectedly passed away May 16, 2017 after a brief illness.  He
was born June 11, 1947 in Hastings the son of Roy and Betty (Welch) Bradley.
   Gary graduated from Belding High School class of 1965.  He married his wife of 50
years Carol Lobdell Sept. 
10, 1966.  In December of 1966 he entered the United States Navy, serving during the
Vietnam War.  When Gary returned home from the service he was accepted into Michigan 
State University's Veterinary Medicine Program, which he completed with honors in 1975.  
He started his own practice in Ionia, serving the area for 36 years.
   Surviving are his wife Carol Bradley.  Son Patrick (Shelly) Bradley, Daughter
Sara (Todd) Kwiatkowski, Grandchildren Victoria, Amanda, Meghan, Justin, Ryan and Austin.  
Brother Mike (Laura) Bradley.  Sisters Vicki (Greg) Grieves and Nancy (Cleo) Hopkins.
   He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Larry.
   Gary was an avid outdoorsman that loved fishing and hunting.
   He will be deeply missed by those that loved him.
   A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Lake
Funeral Home in Ionia.  Those wishing may make memorial contributions to College of Veterinary 
Medicine at MSU.
