Our beloved Linda was a sweet, generous, thoughtful and energetic woman who had a compassion for life which continues to shine through her family. She embraced life to the fullest, whether it was the joy she experienced from baking and sharing her delicious zucchini bread or cheering loudly for her precious children during their summer swim meets. Throughout Linda's journey, her never- wavering commitment to her faith, family and friends was a source of inspiration to all. Her caring love for her family and her spiritual and neighborhood communities motivated her to give selflessly and leaves the many children and adults whom she touched with wonderful memories, lasting true example of God's grace for all to embrace and share. Linda will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Terry, and precious children, JC and Jennifer. By her parents Donald and Mary Louise Schmitz of Westphalia; brothers and sisters, Dale (Faye) Schmitz of Fowlerville, Steven (Cindy) Schmitz of Portland, Karen (John) Seefeldt of Pinckney, William (Tracy) Schmitz of Perry, Anne (Jeffrey) Branch of Grayling; brother-in-law, Kennedy (Nancy) Bradley, Deland, Fla., Robert (Gay Anne) Bradley, Las Vegas,Nev.; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and many friends. The funeral Mass was held May 7 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Chapel Hill, N.C.. with a reception following. Arrangements were entrusted to Walker's Funeral Home, 120 W. Franklin Street, Chapel Hill, NC.27516. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda's name, can be made to St.Thomas More Catholic Church, Chapel Hill.
