Bradley, 78, formerly of 316 East Main, died Friday afternoon at Clarke Memorial home in Grand Rapids where she had been a resident since July 1970. Born in Ionia September 6, 1895, she was the daughter of Charles and Mary Brown Bradley. She was a graduate of Ionia high school and attended the Mount Ida school for girls at Newton, Mass., from 1918 through 1920. She returned to Ionia to work for Smith and Smith Drug store after which she was employed at the Bunnell and Flint Insurance agency in Ionia. Before her retirement in 1960 she had been employed many years as secretary to Allan M. Williams at the Ionia County Road Commission. She was a member of the First United Methodist church, the Wesleyan Service guild and was active in civic affairs. Miss Bradley had two brothers, Matthew and Harold, who preceded her in death. Surviving are two brothers, Russell of Ann Arbor and Glenn of Washington, D.S. Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Leddick funeral home. Rev. Lloyd G. Walker of the LeValley United Methodist church will officiate and interment will be at Highland Park cemetery.
