Ionia Sentinel Standard, 1 May 1947

Mrs. Lucy E. Bradt, 80, died suddenly of a heart attack at her home in Lyons
Thursday morning, May 1 at 7:30 a.m.  She had been in ill health for a number of
years.

She was born September 22, 1866, in Fremont, Iowa, the daughter of Julia and
Hiram S. Daskam.  She moved to Ionia county with her parents when she was nine
months old.  She spent her early life in North Plains and Muir until 1895 when
they moved to Lyons where he owned a furniture and funeral business.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. William Weisgerber of Ionia and Mrs.
Gladys Retallic of Amasa; three grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Lillian
Grant, of Lyons.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
