Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 22 Jul 1959

Service was conducted at the Clarksville Bible church Monday for Mrs. Barbara
Brake, 86, of Campbell township, who died July 17.  Mrs. Brake was the wife of
the late John F. Brake.  Officiating was the Rev. M. M. Ovenshire, pastor of the
Pleasant Valley United Brethren church, and burial was at Holy Corners cemetery
at Caledonia.

Bearers were all nephews of Mrs. Brake: Vern Wenger of Middleville, Joseph
Wenger of Caledonia, Robert Wenger of Coopersville, Dean Allen of East Lansing,
Frank Livingston of Battle Creek and Burdette Livingston of Coxville.  

Friends and relatives attended the funeral from Nashville, Grand Haven,
Hastings, Battle Creek, Lake Odessa, Caledonia, Portland, Coopersville,
Middleville, E. Lansing, Coxville, Ionia, Sparta and Grand Rapids.
