Hattie E. Brake aged 89 of Lowell passed away Friday, June 17, 2005 at her 
home.  She was born June 27, 1915 in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Roy and 
Susie (Fetters) Allen.  She was a member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church.  
Retired from General Die Case 1977 and moved to Lowell, with her husband Robert.

She is survived by daughters Ruth Boggess of Danville, IL, Grace Pocock of 
Lowell, son Donald Brake of Homossas, FL.  As well as twenty-two grandchildren 
and fifty great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Robert 
Brake, daughter Katherine, son Robert Jr., 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Funeral Services will be held Monday 3 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac 
with Rev. Joseph Fremer officiating.  Interment Saranac Cemetery.  Visitation 
will be on Sunday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Anyone wishing may make 
memorial contributions to Ionia Area Hospice or Good Shepard Lutheran Church.
