         Lyle Oliver Braley

Died peacefully January 6, 2023-age 88.
Born January 7, 1934 in Edmore, MI to John & Madge (Brokaw) Braley.
Lyle was a longtime member of the St.Patrick Catholic Church in Portland.
A proud veteran of the U.S. Army 
Retired from Lansing School District on 2000 after many years of service.
Lyle enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars for everybody.
Preceded in death by his paretns; son, David Braley; & six sisters and two 
brothers.
Survived by his wife of 63 years, Judy Braley; daughters, Irene Braley of 
Portland & Lisa (Lee) Ingraham of Saranac; sons, William Braley of Portland & 
Patrick (Teresa) Braley of St.Johns; grandchildren, Crystal Shivle, Andrea 
Braley, Samantha Knight, Alicia (Brian) Spier, Caleb Heifner, Sasha Heath, 
Ashton Braley, and Victoria Braley; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 13, 
2023, at St.Patrick Catholic Church, PortlandRite of Committal will follow at 
Portland Cemetery.
Visitation on Thursday from 6-8 PM with rosary being prayed at 7:00PM at the 
Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E.Bridge St, Portland.
