Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2002

Raymond K. Braman, 86, of Ionia, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2002, in Carson 
City.

He was born Sept. 21, 1915 in Titus, the son of John W. and Olive (Jones) 
Braman.  He would go on to marry Nadine Dancer Aug. 23, 1941.  She preceded him 
in death July 23, 2000.  Raymond was a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Army.  
He was a member of the VFW Sheridan Post.

He is survived by his sisters-in-law Margaret Braman of Lyons and Doris Dance 
of Allegan; nieces Brenda and Daniel Shaeffer, of Ionia, Judy Braman, of Lyons; 
and nephew Gary (Glenora) Dancer of Middleville.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Crystal Cemetery.  Those 
wishing may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society in care 
of Lake Funeral Home, Ionia.
