Braman, 71, died at 6:00 o'clock Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. W. Gott, 433 King street. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday from the Stone funeral home in Ionia with the Rev. Dwight M. Kitch, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating, assisted by the Rev. A. R. Kuehn. Burial will be in Easton cemetery. Mrs. Braman was born October 24, 1876, in Bay City, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Vohlers. She came to Ionia as a child, but returned to Bay City, where she was married in 1896 to Jesse Braman. Mr. and Mrs. Braman celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at the home, 456 King street, in 1946. In 1943 Mr. and Mrs. Braman moved to their Ionia home from Easton township, where they had conducted the store at Dildine. Mrs. Braman was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, of the Blue Star Mothers and of the Dildine Community club, and of the W. R. C., the Auxiliary of the G. A. R. For 25 years she was secretary-treasurer of the Live Arbor, Ancient Order of Gleaners. Surviving her are her husband, Jesse Braman; one daughter, Mrs. August W. Gott, of Ionia; three sons, Limer of Lansing, Chauncey of Lansing, and Elton of Saranac; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one brother, Al Vohlers, of Willoughby, Ohio.
