Lake Odessa Wave-Thursday June 20, 1963

Mrs. Gay B. Branch Passes Away 
Mrs. Gay V. Branch, 78, passed away Wednesday afternoon June 12, at the McLaren 
hospital at Flint where she was a patient for a day but had been in ill health 
about a year. She had made her home with her daughter Mrs.Harold Myers at Flint 
for the last 1 1/2 years.

Mrs.Branch and her husband Forrest lived at Grand Rapids for two years after 
their marriage in 1907 and then returned here to reside until leaving for Flint. 
Forrest passed away November 8, 1954.

She was a member of the Central Methodist Church, WSCS of the church, the Lake 
Odessa Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Lake Odessa Women's 
club.

Funeral services were held on Saturday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel 
with burial in Lakeside cemetery. Rev. Luther Brokaw officiated.
