Lake Odessa Wave-Times January 12, 1933

STEPHEN BRANCH DIED WEDNESDAY EVE.
Lived to be 89 Years of Age. A Resident of this Vicinity Most of His Life.

Stephen Branch, an old respected pioneer resident of this vicinity, died at his 
home Wednesday evening. On December 17, he celebrated his 89th birthday. He and 
his wife were loyal supporters of the First United Brethren church and very much 
interested in the local order of the Eastern Star. They were official members as 
long as health permitted.

Mrs.Branch died about five years ago since which time he has been under the care  
of his daughter Mrs Ella Curtis and husband.

The funeral will be held at the home Saturday at 2 p.m. and burial at Lakeside.
