Ionia Sentinel Standard, 16 Nov 1988

Robert J. Brandsen, 47, of 5171 Hinds Road, Ionia, died Nov. 14 at a Lansing 
Hospital.  He was born April 18, 1941, the son of Alfred and Ruth (Bazan) 
Brandsen.

He is survived by his wife Carol, one son Jeffery at home and two daughters 
Debra and Jaime also both at home, and his parents Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Brandsen 
of Ionia.  He is also survived by two sisters, Marlene McKenna of Ionia and 
Karen Darling of Sunfield.  One brother Gerald preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Neller Funeral Home in 
Portland with the Rev. Julius Vigh of the New Life Christian Reformed Church of 
Ionia officiating.    Burial will be in Portland Cemetery.
