Florence Katherine Brandt, aged 85, formerly of Clarksville, was called Home 
early Wednesday morning, March 8, 2006 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. 
She was born in Woodland Twp. on June 23, 1920. Florence attended Woodland 
Schools, and was married to Robert Brandt on July 28, 1938. 

She enjoyed her flowers and gardening, and took great pride in her knitting 
and crocheting. Florence and Robert spent many summers at their cottage in the 
Upper Peninsula. Her family will remember her kind, loving and giving spirit. 
Florence's family is deeply appreciative to the staff of Tendercare of 
Hastings for the loving care she received during her struggle with 
Alzheimer's. 

She is survived by her daughters, Elaine Catt of Clarksville, and Shirley 
Stahl of Hastings; grandchildren, Kelly (Bob) Tingley, Sherry (Ron) Klein, 
Brian Stahl, Kristine Farrell, and Malinda (Chad) Steinhilber; and 12 great 
grandchildren. Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents; 
brother, Richard Morlok; and sister, Erma Flory. 

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 
the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa. The funeral service will be held at 
the funeral home at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Burial will be in Woodland Memorial 
Park. The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the 
Alzheimer's Association.
