Ionia Daily Sentinel, 4 Apr 1905

Mrs. Sophia Brand, 80 years old, mother of Mrs. Charles Hacker, city, died on
Sunday.  Funeral was held this afternoon at St. John’s Lutheran church.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was
buried in Highland Park Cemetery.]
