The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, September 29, 1943

Claude O. Branson, 65, died Wednesday morning at his home in Berlin township 
after a long illness.  He was born December 21, 1878, in the home where he 
died and had been a farmer all his life.

He is survived by his widow, Kitty, a son, Russell Branson, of Grand Rapids; 
one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the residence.  
Burial will be in Saranac cemetery.
