Rollin W. Branyan died at his home in Muir, Wednesday, January 24, after a 
long period of ill health.  He was 83 years old and been a resident of the 
community for more than 70 years.  He operated a farm in North Plains township 
for years and was proprietor of a hardware store in Muir for 30 years. 

He is survived by Mrs. Branyan, a sister, Mrs. Gardener of Smyrna and a 
brother George Branyan of Battle Creek.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Faulkner Mercer from the Lyons 
Baptist church at two o’clock Friday afternoon with burial in North Plains 
Cemetery.
