William B. “Bill” Brayton, age 76, of Grand Ledge, formerly of Hubbardston,
Mich., passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Selleck Haven Adult Foster Care. 
Bill was born on Aug. 31, 1931, in Hubbardston to William and Irene (Pierce)
Brayton.  He worked at the Fisher Body in Lansing for 30 years, retiring in
1984.  Bill enjoyed going to garage sales and was a rock collector.  He is a
former member of the Hubbardston Masonic Lodge #178.

He is survived by a brother, Francis L. (Ruth) Brayton of Plano, Texas and three
nephews, Joe (Patti) Brayton, William (Melody) Brayton and Alan Brayton all of
Texas and many cousins.  Bill was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Lux and
Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City with Pastor Jack Gladding officiating. 
Interment will be in West Side Cemetery, Hubbardston.  Visitation will be held
on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.  Memorial contributions may
be made to the Carson City United Methodist Church.
