Byron Brayton died at his home near Hubbardston Tuesday. He had been in poor 
health for several years, but his death came very suddenly and unexpectedly. 
He was about 73 years of age, being a longtime resident of North Plains 
township where he had amassed a fine farm property. The funeral will be held 
Friday afternoon and burial will be made in the Hubbardston cemetery. Besides 
the widow, three children survive, namely, Fred B. Brayton, Mrs. Nellie Chick 
and Mrs. Fannie I. Banta. The latter resides in Arizona.
