Miss Breckenridge died at Jonesville, where she and her sister, Miss Belle Breckenridge, have been at the home of an uncle since early in the spring. Miss Franc has been ill almost ever since their arrival there. The Misses Breckenridge kept a boarding house here for many years, and left here about three years ago to go to Chicago, where their mother died a year later. They left Chicago when Miss Belle’s health failed, and returned to this county, living near Portland for about a year. Early last spring they came to Ionia and visited for a short time, and then went to Jonesville, called by their aunt’s illness. Miss Franc’s sickness lasted all summer, and it is probable that her death occurred on Saturday, though the telegram does not give the day. The funeral will be held tomorrow.
