Ray was born on March 18, 1915, in Belding, the son of Anthony and Mary Kopp Breimayer. During his working years he had sold automobiles at Breimayer Chevrolet in Belding and owned R and W Music Sales in Belding. Ray had a lifelong love of music and dance. He had lived in the Mecosta area for many years and enjoyed wintering in Mesa, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Beatrice; second wife, Gladys; sister, Esther; brothers, Clarence, Ed and Ron. Ray is survived by his daughter, Lana F. and David Green of Belding; one grandson and two great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Buller of Alma; several nieces, nephews and many friends in the Mecosta and Belding areas. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Remus, with Father Charles Hall presiding. Interment will be 3 p.m. Monday at St. Mary Cemetery, Miriam. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday with the rosary prayed at 7:30 p.m. at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Visitation will also be one hour before mass at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Belding or St. Michael Church, Remus.
