Mrs. Eva O. Brenner, 79 years old, died at her home in Grand Rapids Sunday. 
This bare announcement would seem to have no interest for Ionians, and it has
not, except for those whose memories reach back to the war period.  Mrs. Brenner
was the wife of H. Baroth, an early piano teacher of this city, went into the
war as captain of Co. K, 21st infantry.  After the death of Capt. Baroth she
married P. Brenner of Grand Rapids.  Her three children died several years ago.
