                Rites Wednesday For Former Shoe Shop Owner

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Wilbur Kirby of the Church of God 
Wednesday afternoon at the Fitzjohn Funeral Home for Wilford F.Bricker, who 
passed away Sunday evening.

The body was placed in the mausoleum until burial at River Ridge Cemetery at a 
later date.

Mr.Bricker was born in this city April 26,1893, the son of Willis and Odelia 
Bricker. On June 27, 1914, he was united in marriage to Miss Fannie LaBar of 
Lakeview.

He operated Bill's Shoe Shop for 28 years until retiring five years ago because 
of Ill health. He was a member of the Belding band for many years and always 
showed an active interest in civic affairs prior to his illness.

Surviving are his wife, Fannie; two sisters, Mrs.Hazel Fletcher and Mrs.Lucille 
Gallager of this city, and one half-sister,Mrs.Neva Devine,Chicago.
