She had resided with her daughter for the past five years. She was born in Orange township March 23, 1862, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Harwood. She attended Coon school in Berlin township. On October 1, 1879, she was married in Portland to Warren Brickley who preceded her in death. She and her husband lived in Orange for four years when they moved to Berlin. In 1929 they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Mrs. Brickley was a member of LeValley Methodist church and a charter member of the Ladies’ Aid society. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Floyd Benedict, of Orange; a grandchild; and a sister, Mrs. George Hazzard of Lake Odessa. A daughter, Mrs. Ethel Williams, a brother, Luke Harwood and a sister, Mrs. Pennie Reed, preceded her in death. Services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Benedict home. The Rev. Willis Hunting, pastor of the LeValley Methodist church, will officiate. Interment will be Balcom cemetery.
