Brickley, 84-year-old Orange township woman, died Friday morning at 8 o’clock at the farm where she had lived for the past 46 years, and which is now owned by her son, Fred Brickley. She had been ill since the last of January. Born in Essex county, Ontario, December 6, 1856, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Wilson, she moved with her parents to Orange township when she was 12 years of age. She had made her home in Orange for 73 years. On March 1, 1875, she married Frank Brickley. He died November 27, 1927. She had been a lifelong member of the LeValley Methodist church and a member of the Ladies’ Aid society and Missionary division of the church. Surviving are the son, Fred, of Orange; one daughter, Mrs. Neil Friedly, of Boyne City; three grandchildren, William J., of Lansing; Mrs. Herbert Wilkins, of Sandusky, Ohio, and Lois Brickley, at home. Also a sister, Mrs. Nellie Adgate, of Ionia, and a brother, Ted Wilson, of Charlotte. Funeral services will be held from the farm residence Monday afternoon, April 14, at 2:30 o’clock. Rev. Ralph L. Bates will officiate, and interment will be at the mausoleum at Highland Park cemetery.
