Ionia Daily Sentinel, 14 Dec 1955

Mrs. Lottie Adeline Brigham, 75, died at Wilcox hospital in Alma Tuesday 
evening at 10 o’clock.  Mrs. Brigham was born March 25, 1880 in Ionia county, 
the daughter of Oliver and Mary Ely.  February 8, 1900 she was married to 
Burdette Brigham who preceded her in death in 1951.  They resided on a farm in 
Lyons township most of their married life until moving to Alma about three 
years ago.  Mr. and Mrs. Brigham celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary five 
years ago.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. George Uriel of Alma; one granddaughter, Anne 
Farrar of Detroit; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Townsend of Durand and Mrs. Ernest 
Chase of Ionia.

She was a member of the Presbyterian church in Alma.

The body will be taken to the North Plains church north of Muir Friday 
afternoon at 1 o’clock and services will be held there at 2 o’clock with the 
Rev. Bernard F. Da?? of the Presbyterian church at Alma officiating.  Burial 
will be at North Plains cemetery.
