Thelma F. Brimmer, 76, formerly of Woodhaven Apt., Belding, died Wednesday, Aug.
3, 1988, at Greenville Care Center.  She was born March 28, 1912, in Grand
rapids, the daughter of Floyd and Effie Ruthruff Cole.  She was a member of
Green Corners Baptist Church.

Her husband, Clarence, preceded her in death Jan. 24, 1967.  Surviving are two
daughters, Vivian Seitler, Ionia, Mrs. Jack (Carmie) Eyer, Greenville; four sons
and their wives, George and Inez Brimmer, Luther, Wayne and Marlene Brimmer,
Belding, Edward and Jacqueline Brimmer, Orleans, Gary and Ilas Brimmer,
Greenville; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Robert (Florence) Caines, Tyler, Texas, Mrs.
Kline (Myrtle) VanConant, Turk Lake; two stepsons, Alphie and his wife, Donna
Brimmer, Belding, Kermit Brimmer, Florida; 28 grandchildren and 56
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Huffman Funeral Home with burial in
Otisco Cemetery.  The Rev. Gene Sickler will officiate.  The family will receive
relatives and friends at the funeral home today and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m.
