Hasting's Reminder - Saturday March 18, 2023

                      Walter Erwin Brimmer

Walter Erwin Brimmer, age 84 of Hasting's, MI passed away on March 13, 2023 at 
his home in Hasting's, MI.

Walter was born in Belding, MI, on March 28, 1938, son of the late Helen 
(Senkowski) and Chester Brimmer.

He was raised in Carson City and attended local school graduating from Rockford 
High School in 1956. After completing his education, the family moved to 
Vermontville, where the family owned and operated a local service station.

He was married to Mary (Moffett) Brimmer and the couple made their home together 
in the Hastings area where they raised their family together.Walter spent most 
of his working career with EW Bliss as a machinist, retiring in 1992 after 30 
years with the company.

In his spare time Walter loved being outdoors, cutting wood, fishing, camping 
int he UP and took many trail hikes with daughter. He didn't care what the 
weather was doing, he just wanted to be outdoors.

Walter is survived by his daughter, Sandra K. Brimmer, sister-in-law, MaryJo 
Brimmer, and his grand-pets who he dearly loved, Simba and Mystic Moon.

He was preceded n death by his wife, Mary in 2012, daughter, Susan; son, Brent, 
and half-brother, Lloyd.

There will be no funeral services coducted.
