Brink died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bert Riker, Saturday of heart trouble, aged 74 years, 7 months and 17 days. Mr. Brink has made his home here for some time but visited occasionally in Blanchard and Kent City where his other daughters reside. Last Friday he came from Blanchard complaining of not feeling well and Dr. Plukham was called. The deceased was born in New York. He was a veteran of the Civil war, a carpenter by trade, and leaves three daughters, Mrs. Bert Riker of this city, Mrs. Sadie Roberts of Kent City, and Mrs. Holle Hadluik of Blanchard. The funeral service was held Monday at Blanchard, the remains being taken there for interment.
