Mrs. Irvin Brink aged 77 years died quite suddenly at the home of her son E. 
E. Brink in Sherman township Sunday morning April 15th of heart failure.  She 
retired in apparent good health the previous evening but when Mr. Brink arose 
in the morning he found her suffering and she passed away before medical 
assistance could be had.  

The funeral occurred Tuesday from the Brown church conducted by Rev. Soule of 
Cadillac.  Her sons and daughters, Fred Brink and family of McBain, Mrs. 
Martha Benton of Lakeview, Mrs. Eva Hoppough of Smyrna, and Mrs. Ida Martin of 
Onekema were present at the obsequies.  Deceased had lived in Sherman 25 years 
this spring.
