Brink, a resident in this vicinity for many years, died last Saturday at the home of her niece, Mrs. Wm. E. Choate, 720 South Bridge street, aged 76 years and 11 months. Deceased, whose maiden name was Witt, was born in Wayne county, Mich., March 26, 1833. In 1847 she came to Otisco township and in 1859 was married to Darius Brink. To this union but one child was born, Mrs. Frank D. Hale, of Grand Rapids, who survives her. Two brothers and two sisters also survive her, as follows: Henry Witt, of this city; Daniel Witt, of Pasadena, Cal.; Mrs. Susanne Doremus, of Toledo, O.; and Mrs. Emily Hanks, of Otisco. Her husband died 26 years ago at his home in Otisco. Funeral services were held at the Choate home, Tuesday, at 10:30 a.m., conducted by Rev. G. W. Maxwell and the remains were laid at rest in the family burial lot in the Belding cemetery.
