Ionia Sentinel, 24 Jun 1947 

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Brisbin who died at her home in Portland 
Thursday were held from the Myers funeral home Saturday at 2:30 p.m.  The Rev. 
Fr. Everett Moore officiated.  Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery.  The V.F.W. 
auxiliary was in charge of the graveside service.

Her bearers were Paul Olmstead, Alden Rowley, Bernard Olmstead and E. M. 
Patterson.

Attending services from out of town were Mrs. Cora Luce of Belding, Mr. and 
Mrs. Fred Fields of Lansing, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Patterson of Haslett, Mrs. 
Bessie Spaulding of Portland and Mrs. Kenneth Spaulding and Paul Olmstead of 
Orleans.
