Final Rites Held For Ivah Brisbin

Mrs. Ivah D.Brisbin, 76, route 3, Hastings, passed away Sunday at the Lakeview 
General Hospital, Battle Creek where she was hospitalized for seven weeks.

She was born May 26,1898 in Barry County, the daughter of Reuben and Addie 
(Barnum) Wilson and was a lifelong resident of the area.

She married George V. Brisbin in June of 1917 and they resided in the Coats 
Grove area all their married life.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs.Morris (Anita) Curtis of Hastings 
and Mrs.William (Nina) Ragsdale of Colorado Springs, Colo.; five sons Glenn, 
Kenneth, Nelson and Roy of Battle Creek and Robert of Hastings; 23 grandchildren 
and 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs Lena Barnum of Hastings, Mrs.Fred 
(Nina) Decker of Woodland and Myrtle Wilson also a brother Donald Wilson, both 
of Hastings.

Funeral services wee held Wednesday at 1:30 at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel, 
Lake Odessa with burial in the Fuller cemetery, Carlton Township. Rev. William 
Hertel officiated.
