Ionia Sentinel, 17 Dec 1956

Mrs. Laura L. Bristol, 83, of 206 ˝ South Jefferson street died early Monday 
morning at the Ionia County Memorial hospital where she had been a patient 
since Wednesday.

Born in Perry, July 13, 1873, she was a daughter of Edwin and Martha Westfall 
and attended the First Baptist church in Ionia, C.C.W. class and Ella Hutchins 
circle.

Surviving are her husband, Elmer Bristol; a son, Robert Tyler of Lansing; two 
daughters, Mrs. John Morris of Ionia and Mrs. James Donovan of Greenville; six 
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the 
Myers funeral home with the Rev. Alfred E. Miller, pastor of the First Baptist 
church officiating.  Interment will be in Balcom cemetery.
