Mr. Broad was about 60 years of age and at one time conducted a meat market in Ionia and later one at Orleans. He was forced to dispose of his market in that village on account of sickness. Mr. Broad is survived by his widow and two sons, Cleon, of Detroit, and Alfred, of Minneapolis. The funeral announcement will not be made until word is received from the sons.
