Ionia Daily Standard, 7 Aug 1916

Mrs. Charles Broad, many years a resident of Ionia, on the old homestead at the
head of North Jackson street, died at the home of her daughter, at Middleton, on
Saturday.  The funeral service was held at that place, and the remains were
brought to Ionia this afternoon and taken direct to Highland Park for interment.
