Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Thurs. July 12, 2012

In loving memory of our daughter, sister, cousin, niece and friend, Jamie Jo 
Brock, 47, of Lake Odessa, who passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012 at her 
residence and went all too soon into the arms of our Heavenly Father.

"We will never know the reason why; only He knows. The only thing we know is 
that Heaven has gotten one of the best Angels, our Jamie Jo!"

Jamie was the type of lady that once you met her you were a friend for life. 
She has touched many people in her short lifetime here on earth.

Jamie led a very simple life. All she ever really wanted out of life was 
someone to love her for her. Jamie has a phenomenal sense of humor. She enjoyed 
making everyone around her smile. Jamie would help anyone in need - even if it 
meant that she would have to go without. If Jamie knew you needed something and 
she didn't have it she would find someone that did.

Jamie enjoyed cookouts at Harry and Vicki's garage sales, dumpster diving with 
her mom and Susie, crafts of all kinds, reading magazines and books, telling 
jokes, pulling pranks, collecting porcelain dolls, teddy bears, buying M&M 
items for her mom's collection, being on the computer and babying her dogs.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glendon "Bergy" Brock; maternal 
grandparents, Harold and Hazel Laux; paternal grandparents, Abe and Jennie 
Brock; and  uncles Jim and Tim Laux.

Surviving is her loving and devoted mother, Joan Brock; brother, Steven (Beth) 
Brock; special cousins, Harry and Vicki, Susie and Doogie and family, Ruthanne 
and little Christopher; uncles, Ken (Linda) Brandt, Carl (Brenda) Brandt, Dale 
Brock; aunt, Madaline Hoffman; numerous cousins and friends.

Graveside services for Jamie Jo will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday at 
Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa.
