Sentinel-Std. - Monday, August 3, 1964

Funeral services for Marshall  R. Brock, 71, of Isabella county, father of 
Mrs. Edmond Burdo of Ionia, was conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at Clare 
Methodist church with the Rev. D.R. Salisbury and Rev. Raymond Norton 
officiating.

Mr. Brock retired Clare farmer and Michigan Bell Telephone company employee 
died Saturday at his summer home at Charlevoix. He had resided in Vernon 
township 32 years.

He was born in Ironton, April 20, 1893, and was a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are his wife, Marinda, a daughter, Mrs. Joanne Burdo, of Ionia, a 
son, Marshal E. (Bud) Brock of Lansing, five grandchildren, two sisters and 
a brother, Mrs. Sadie Coblenz, Mrs. Sylvia Lewis and James Brock, all of 
Charlevoix.

Arrangements were by Stephenson funeral home in Clare and interment was at 
Cherry Grove cemetery.
