Lake Odessa Wave-Times-Fri. February 4, 1921

Marjorie Lucile Brock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abe Brock, born Feb. 11, 1920, 
departed this life for her Heavenly Home to be with Jesus, Jan. 24, 1921, aged 
eleven months and 13 days. She leaves to mourn her loss loving parents, a 
brother, and grandparents also many others, who did all that willing hands could 
do.

She was a most affectionate child with a smiling face for all who met her. She 
was a patient little sufferer until Jesus took her to be with him on High.

Darling Marjorie, she has left us. Left us, yes for ever more
But we hope to meet our loved one On that bright and happy shore.
The little crib is empty now The little cloth laid by 
A mother's hope a father's joy in deaths cold arms doth lie.
Go little pilgrim to thy home On yonder blissful shore
We miss thee but soon will come Where thou has gone before,
A precious one from us had gone A voice we loved is stilled
A place is vacant in our home Which never can be filled.
God in his wisdom has recalled the boon his love had given
And though the body slumbers here  The soul is safe in heaven.
                             CARD OF THANKS
We hereby wish to express our sincere thanks to the many friends and neighbors 
who s kindly helped us in the various ways during the sickness and death of our 
darling Marjorie; to Rev. Zuse for his comforting words also the choir for their 
grateful service. The various departments of the church, the Odd Fellows and to 
all whom sent flowers also to those who furnished autos or in any way rendered 
services.
