Alice was born on August 9, 1930 in Orleans Township, the daughter of Earl and Ida( Bennett) Toleson. For many years she lived in Shiloh and attended Shiloh Community Church. She enjoyed watching baseball and was an excellent baker of pies and breads. She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Brockway on February 15, 1990 and by her parents, four brothers; Harland, Robert, Edward and William and one sister; Virginia. Alice is loved and survived by her sons; Dale Brockway of Gaylord, Donald (Barbara) Brockway of Belding, Douglas Brockway of Lansing, Paul (Ann) Brockway of Ionia, her grandchildren; Maegan, Eric, Josh, Anna, James, Sherry, Daniel, Mark, Matthew and Angela, her great grandchildren; Lillian, Hannah, Trent, Faith, Isabelle, Paige and Cadence, her sister Janice and two brothers; Manuel and David. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Shiloh Community Church with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Committal prayers will follow in Orleans Township Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Memorials may be given to Shiloh Community Church.
