Lake Odessa Wave
     FLOSSIE V. BRODBECK
   LAKE ODESSA   Flossie V. Brodbek 87 of grand Rapids died Friday March 1 at
Butterworth Hospital.
   She was born Jan 28, 1899 in Woodland Township the daughter of George and Elinor
Treece Conrad.  She attended Hastings Schools  and married Luther Brodbeck on July 17 
1920 in Woodland.
   Before moving to Grand Rapids in 1959 they resided in Woodland, Woodbury, Ionia
and Alma.  She was a member of the Hold Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Grand Rapids.
   Surviving are two daughters Margueriete Williams and Norma Brodbeck both of Grand
Rapids, one son Luther of Alma five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren one sister 
Velma Anderson of Marion and two sisters-in-laws, Ida and Laura Conrad both of Hastings.
   Her husband preceded her in death on Oct 18, 1975, one son, one sister and two
brothers also preceded her in death.
   Funeral services will be Monday 1:30 p.m. at Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa
with the Rev. Frederick Adrian officiating.
   Burial in Lakeside Cemetery will follow.  The family will be at the funeral home
Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 9 p.m.
