Jan. 20, 1955) Paul G. Brodbeck, 63, passed away at Pennock hospital Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon at 2:00 at the Zion Lutheran Church. Additional information will be in next weeks Wave. PAUL BRODBECK SR DIED WEDNESDAY (Jan. 27, 1955) Paul B. Brodbeck 63, of route 3, died at Pennock hospital Wednesday Jan 19 where had been a patient for only a few days. A livelong resident of Woodland township he served as township treasurer for many years and was an instructor of an agricultural program for World War II veterans and was a prominent retired farmer in both Woodland and Lake Odessa areas. Surviving are his wife, the former Florence Jordan, five daughters Mrs. Helen Miske of Lansing, Mrs. Mary Ulrey of N. Manchester Ind., Mrs. Patricia Ellcey of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Carolyn Brecheisen of Woodland, and Mrs. Jacqueline Meade of Hudsonville; seven sons Russell and David at home, Carroll, Larry and Willard of Lake Odessa, Richard and Paul Jr. of Woodland; one sister Mrs. George (Regina) Benner of Milford Ill; two brothers Luther of Alma and Carl of Lake Odessa and 22 grand children. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 at the Zion Lutheran church with burial in Lakeside cemetery. Rev. George Neiman officiated.
