Russell J. Broga, 40, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., former Ionian, died Wednesday
at Marshfield, Wis.  He was an industrial engineer with Ore-Ida Foods of
Lansing.    He was the son of Leroy and Irene Mier Broga and was born in
Cadillac Feb. 19, 1946.  He was married to Gail Kernen Nov. 25, 1966, in Toledo,
Ohio.  She survives.

Also surviving are a son, Russell Broga; a daughter, Amy Broga, both of
Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.; his mother, Irene Broga of Virginia Beach, Va.; two
sisters, Vivian Hitt of Virginia Beach, Va., and Sandra Potter of Flint.  He was
preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Funeral services will be held form the Rich Street Chapel of Montgomery Funeral
Home at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Kenneth Harger of Shiloh Community Church
officiating.  Burial will be in Easton Cemetery.  The family will be at the
funeral home from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday.
